What is the reason to find most athletes even carrying around one while traveling?

One thing that I’d like you to ask yourself is- If you were to think about your own body like that of an Athlete’s, take care of Yourself like an athlete would, then what are the things you would do differently?

For an Athlete, the roller helps to release tension in the muscles which is caused due to strenuous physical activity. But we don’t see someone working desk jobs using any tools to release muscle tension or stiffness which is being cause by constant sitting/ standing. You must have read several articles asking you to get up from your desk every 30-40mins to stretch your legs and twist your torso to release stiffness but do you find that working for you after several years of working a desk job? Um… I doubt. And I say that because the majority of the clients who come to the gym need help with some sedentary lifestyle related issue.

So then will carrying a Foam Roller to your work place and using that be a solution? Well definitely a part of the solution! You cannot swap one hour of lifting weights, getting in a cardio session and breathing fresh air for anything. But it’s also important that you take care of your body for the other 23hrs using tools and techniques which will be helpful to sustain the healthy lifestyle that you’ve chosen to keep up with! Ask yourself how you feel, several times a day and if you’re not satisfied with the answer then see what small changes can be made to satisfy your health needs.
